Here are a few must-visit places in Orlando.
The Orlando Museum of Art
You can start your trip here on an arty note. Operating for almost a century now, this museum has lots of interesting fine art on display and new works are shown every month.
Your next stop can be an unusual attraction that will bring you close to nature’s ferocious beasts – alligators!
Gatorland began its journey as a roadside thrill show in 1949. Now, it is a full-blown theme park where, if you are brave enough, you can zip lie right over alligator marshes. There are around two thousand crocodiles and alligators here and you can catch tours and shows too.
Walt Disney World
Well, surely an Orlando vacation will be called truly lacking if you were to give Walt Disney World a miss. This attraction is the most-visited vacation resort in the world with over 50 million people visiting it every year.
There are four main parks here:
- The Magic Kingdom
- Animal Kingdom
- Hollywood Studios
Then there are two water parks and an entertainment complex called Disney Springs, which offers shopping and dining experiences to visitors.
Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens
This is a great place to lose yourself in nature! With 23 acres of gardens blooming with tropical foliage, this attraction is a siren song for those who love animals of all sizes and shapes. There is a reptile house, an insect zoo, a splash playground, and a petting and feeding area too. You can spend hours here without getting tired or bored.
And if you still haven’t had your fill of nature, you can visit the Rock Springs at Kelly Park. You can rent clear kayaks here and enjoy the stupendous views of the bottom of the free-flowing spring here. It is an amazing family adventure that you really shouldn’t miss.
Andretti Indoor Karting & Games
This place is huge with multi-level indoor karting, two-floor laser tag, over 120 arcades, prize games, a motion theater, and six virtual reality racing simulators. Those who love adrenaline-pumping games can try their hand at an extreme ropes course that involves a curved-rail zip line. And if all those thrills leave you hungry and thirsty, you can pig out at the full-service restaurant and bars here.
