As a young professional, I often bring my own coffee to work to save some money. All the bottles I tried so far drove me bonkers. Some were leaking. Some weren’t fully insulated. A friend recommended I give Kool8 a try and I’m glad I did because this bottle managed to solve one of my long-time issues: keeping my beloved coffee hot for hours.
I brought it to work on a recent Monday morning and was pleasantly surprised to see that my coffee tasted as fresh and hot as when I made it. No dripping either, despite a rather bumpy 40-minute train commute. After I finished the coffee, I gave my bottle a rinse and filled it up with water. I was expecting some lingering metallic or coffee taste.
Thankfully, no such thing happened. Turns out, this might be the only stainless steel bottle that doesn’t get stinky. The health junkie and activist in me also loves that Kool8 is BPA free and 20% of what I paid for will give others access to clean water. Lastly, this bottle is nice to look at.
In a sea of glittery, shimmery and crazy-patterned bottles, Kool8’s minimalist design was a fresh of breath air. I got the one in bright red color, which is feminine and fun, yet sleek and… “kool.” You can also check this review to see what other people think about this water bottle.
Personally, I just wish they were more colors available and there were some slightly bigger bottles to choose from, so I don’t have to refill it as often.
